After watching the Biggest Loser for so many seasons, and seeing all those women cry about how they are effecting their children, I took a close look at my life and how I was eating (and what I was doing) and realized that I did not want my daughter to learn bad habits as well. Perry helped me find ways to exercise at home so that my family could be involved as well. He came to my home 2 times a week, and showed me how to work with the equipment I have available. I also learned about food, and how to cook healthy for my family by substituting a few simple ingredients. Now, if I could just get my husband to start working out with me…

What a feeling (singing theme from Fame song!). I am so happy with the progress I have made at One 2 One Fitness. I started working out with them in August 2008, and I lost almost 1/2 of the weight I wanted to lose (50 lbs) in about 4 months. It took a little longer to lose the rest, but once I did, it was worth it! I just started going to the boot camp, and the extra days I am working out with someone really help me stay on track. I am working out with Perry twice a week and going to bootcamp twice a week, so I cannot fail! I can’t wait to lose that last 15 lbs! —Sandra

I have worked with Megan, a trainer at One 2 One Fitness, for a few months now. I needed someone to help me get out of one of my sporadic couch potato modes and back to a good fitness level. My sessions with Megan have been motivational and I was quickly able to get back to much healthier level of fitness. What I most enjoy about One 2 One Fitness is that it truly is a one on one training experience. There are only two people in the gym at any given time (you and your trainer), so no waiting for equipment and you can move quickly from station to station. Megan is very fun to workout with and she includes a variety of exercises to spice up sessions. I highly recommend her. -Gayle M.
I have been working out with Becky Carpenter for over five years. While I’m not someone who loves exercise, she keeps me coming back because of her positive and encouraging attitude, and because she provides enough variety in the work I do to keep me from getting bored. She pushes me gently, getting me to try a little bit more weight and a few more reps all the time, but I never feel pushed or stressed. Before meeting Perry HATED anything that had to do with working out. Thanks to Perry’s patience and ability to keep my sessions new and exciting I have started to look forward to going to the gym rather then dreading it as I had with other trainers. I have been working with Perry for eleven months. He is flexible with scheduling, listens closely to his clients’ needs, and runs a clean gym. Although weight loss isn’t my issue, (quite the opposite actually), Perry provides thoughtful nutritional advice, and has even done my supplement purchasing for me. Perry was terrific. He gave me a well rounded strength routine that takes into account my back injury. Perry was prepared with a written summary of the routine and took the time at the beginning to ask about my goals, current exercise regime, and heath condition. His facility is small, but well equipped and clean. He explained each exercise well and struck the right balance of making it challenging but not a death march. He clearly knows what he is doing and gave me lots of variations to use for each major muscle group so that I can add diversity to my routines. The most notable thing Perry did was to respect the fact that I really just wanted a new routine, not to use him as my training partner each time I work out. By not giving me the hard sell I am more likely to use Perry again for a refresher or for a new routine once I am ready to progress to the next level. He’s got a great personality and I highly recommend him. -Brian

Perry has worked with me to get my cardiovascular endurance and my strength to where I can compete with some of the best fighters out there and Becky has worked on my boxing skills.
